Bringing the pleasure and excitement of the countryside to Great Harwood with the Great Harwood Agricultural Show – an annual show on Spring Bank Holiday Monday.
Competitions
As a traditional agricultural show we hold competitions for a range of animals including cattle, sheep, light horses, heavy horses and shetlands, poultry & eggs, pygmy goats, rabbits and dogs. We also hold unaffiliated showjumping and BSJA showjumping classes. Main Arena
Our main arena is the focal point of the show, holding attractions to suit all the family all day long. Displays at our 2019 show included Joseph’s Amazing Racing Pigs as well as dog agility displays, birds of prey flying display, Accrington Pipe Band and North West Bloodhounds. Not forgetting our popular children’s games for the young ones to get involved in.
Around the Showground
As well as all the animals on display, there’s so much to see and do around the showground at the Great Harwood Agricultural Show. We have over 100 trade and craft stands showcasing the best in agricultural, countryside and local produce. Our food court and beer tent are sure to satisfy any craving. Check out the classic and vintage vehicles on display or enjoy the funfair.
