Farington Nursery in Leyland is an Ofsted registered Independent day nursery located within Farington Primary School, providing excellent quality childcare.
Our outstanding nursery was established in 1978 and is situated within a primary school. It therefore enjoys the benefits of an Independent Nursery as well as cohesively working with a respected Primary School, ensuring all our children are well prepared and ‘school ready.’
We welcome everyone in the local community, providing a happy, safe, secure, warm, caring and sharing environment. Farington Nursery provide stimulating fun activities to ensure each individual child is encouraged to develop and reach their full potential.
Working with Parents
We hold Parents as Partners in high regard and work closely with yourselves to build excellent relationships with all our parents and families. We encourage parents and families to be actively involved in your child’s nursery life.
Farington Nursery have open days where as families you can get to know us and stay and play. ‘An hour in the life of your little one.’ We have parents meetings to discuss progression, daily face to face communication with all staff and Managers and your child’s key person. In addition we provide regular updates, newsletters and information via notice boards, home/link diaries, email, text messages, newsletters and facebook.
