Turton and Entwistle Reservoir is a water reservoir in the village of Edgworth, near Chorley, Lancashire.
The scenery is stunning and makes a great family walk.
Parking is free and easy in the public carpark. The path is very solid for walking and is suitable for all ages etc. It will take around an hour plus with a sit for a snack on one of the many benches.
It is dog friendly and very good for cyclists and has a very good pub close by – the ‘Strawberry Duck‘.
Also very handy is Entwistle Railway Station, which is located close by.
