British Commercial Vehicle Museum

The British Commercial Vehicle Museum was founded in 1983, in Leyland.

The museum displays a range of commercial vehicles produced by the British manufacturing industry. These included antiquarian buses, early fire engines and others. In fact, it has celebrated 35 years of interesting and historic vehicles from our past. Exhibits are regularly changed so that each year there is always something new to see.

The museum is a registered charity, & overseen by a Board of Trustees. The management & volunteers do a splendid job in ensuring that the museum is presented in a truly positive way. Vehicles have to be kept in good working order as well as being regularly polished!
